Rooted in New Jersey’s rich basketball tradition and now based in Northern Virginia, NV Elite was founded in 2026 by Lucky Jones. The program was built from Lucky’s passion for teaching young athletes how to play the game the right way.

Lucky Jones is widely regarded as one of the most versatile and impactful student-athletes in the history of RMU Colonials Men’s Basketball. A 6-foot-6, 210-pound guard/forward from Newark, New Jersey, and a product of St. Anthony High School, Jones made an indelible mark on the Robert Morris program from 2011‒15.
During his collegiate career, Jones displayed a rare combination of scoring ability, defensive intensity, and rebounding prowess. Jones finished his career as Robert Morris’s all-time leading rebounder, played a pivotal role in historic NCAA Tournament wins, and became just the third player in NEC history to surpass 1,300 points, 700 rebounds, 150 assists, and 150 steals. His blend of consistency and leadership left an enduring legacy at Robert Morris University and cemented his place among the Colonials’ all-time greats.
